Operating out of one of it’s three Data Center environments, ISI offers a full-suite of Data Center processing services. ISI has a proven track record of delivering outstanding services at a very competitive price. Data Center Operations

ISI operates three Data Centers 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Each Data Center is staffed with information technology professionals. These environments contain state-of-the-art information processing technology supported by an uninterrupted power supply.

Systems Support

Within these Data Center environments, ISI maintains a professional technical staff knowledgeable in all operating systems and support systems, including:

  • MVS/ESA, OS/390

  • VSE/ESA

  • VMS

  • UNIX

  • Third Party Products (CA, Sterling, etc.)

Disaster Recovery

ISI has established and maintains a disaster recovery capability in the unlikely event that any of the three data centers experiences a disruption in service or catastrophic failure. 

Communications

The integration of a client’s many processing environments is accomplished through the communication network infrastructure provided by ISI. Clients are connected to ISI’s processing centers via high-speed communication links. These links are sized by ISI communication specialists to ensure remote customers experience the same performance, or better, than they encountered prior to outsourcing. ISI fully supports the IBM SNA family of protocols as well as X.25 and TCP/IP. The company has established relationships with local and long haul carriers to provide connectivity via direct link (T1/T3), ISDN, and Frame Relay options. ISI also provides voice communication services as part of its communications service offering.

Help Desk Services

ISI maintains a Data Center Help Desk 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to respond to customer questions and issues arising from data center operations. The staff provides Level-1 and Level-2 support services for all hardware, system software and network services required by our Clients. The Help Desk also supports customer-developed applications by implementing a customized remediation program based upon proven ISI methodology.
